The energy and calmness Rahman transferred during their interaction was indescribable, and the encounter left a lasting impact on Dinesh. It was a dream come true not just for Dinesh, but for every fan who has ever longed to meet their hero. Follow along as Dinesh reflects on this life-changing experience.
“Getting a chance to meet A.R. Rahman is a dream chased by every fan. To have a photograph of the memory is something special. But chatting with A.R. Rahman is a life-changing event and thanks to my brothers, I got this rarest of the opportunity to have a casual, non-music-related chat with my guru, friend, philosopher, and guide yesterday after the Pune NH7 concert.
There are celebrities and there are fans of these celebrities. Most of them are happy to follow the success and performances of these celebrities, but there is something unique about A.R. Rahman fans. No sooner have you become his fan, you have a strong craving to meet him in person or have a close encounter with him. It doesn’t stop at just being his fan and listening to his music alone. You have to meet him or at least be within a radius of 10 meters. 🙂
Such a humble person, so down to earth, ever smiling, and accommodating to his fans, when you meet him, you feel like protecting him from all ills and evils of life. The vibes, the energy, and the calmness that he transfers to you during the interaction are beyond words. For that, you have to be a Rahmaniac.
God bless A.R. Rahman and his disciples. Jai Ho!”
