“I have interacted with Rahman quite a few times for MTV. I think his first concert was called Happy Balloon,” he recalls.
“He is not a big talker so the little he talks is a pleasure to listen to. I honestly believe that everyone at MTV gets very happy when we are meeting A.R. Rahman. When you meet him, you know you are in the presence of somebody who is already widely renowned yet such a young living legend. We are all in awe of him,” says Cyrus.
“At our channel, the day he is coming, everyone comes to work on time. Where I work, 99 percent of the people don’t report to the shoots and they report sick. When Rahman is coming, 50,000 people turn up. Without knowing it, Mr. Rahman is helping us be more productive. I honestly believe he is a genuine musical legend who will get better with time, he is God-gifted!” gushes Cyrus.
About Danny Boyle, the avid film watcher says, “Danny Boyle is one of the best directors with films like Trainspotting, 28 Days Later and The Beach which I really liked. Slumdog Millionaire was spectacular too,” signs off Sahukar.
