Rahman scores for Danny’s 127 Hours
21 08 2010127 HOURS is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston’s (James Franco) remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah.
Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary, scale a 65 foot wall and hike over eight miles before he is finally rescued.
Throughout his journey, Ralston recalls friends, lovers (Clemence Poesy), family, and the two hikers (Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara) he met before his accident. Will they be the last two people he ever had the chance to meet?

Well, judging from the plot, and considering James Franco’s talent and Danny Boyle’s magic touch, we are pretty sure the movie 127 Hours is going to be a hit.
Boyle had been wanting to make a film about Ralston’s ordeal for four years. Boyle wrote a treatment for the film and Simon Beaufoy wrote the screenplay. News of the World reported in November 2009 that Cillian Murphy was Boyle’s top choice to play Ralston.
Ryan Gosling was also rumored to play Ralston. In January 2010, James Franco was cast as Ralston.
Filming was reported to begin in March 2010 in Utah.Boyle intends to shoot the first part of the film with no dialogue. As of June 17, 2010, the film is in post-production. Boyle describes ‘127 Hours’ as “very much a British film”, and as “an action movie with a guy who can’t move”.
Close sources reveal that A R Rahman has rendered some breathtaking score to the movie and Matt Dunkley in his recent tweets updated that he has already recorded an orchestra in London with Rahman for the movie.
Now, Everyone wishes that the Oscar History repeats with this movie for both Rahman and Boyle.
