A R Rahman introduces Ayaan to Bollywood

With the music of Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na doing well A R Rahman is on cloud nine. He was recently at the unveiling of Tanvir Ahmed’s Ada not to promote his music, but to introduce debutant actor, Ayaan Ahmad, to the big world of Bollywood. Ayaan is starring in Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na as well. And when asked what was so special about the young lad, this is what the ace music composer had to say. “He’s perfect for the character that he is playing in the film. It’s good to see new actors who have different nuances than main stream actors. Rahman who’s also composed the music of Ayaan’s film Ada is confident that the music will hit the popularity charts. It took him almost seven years in the making and has competition from his own film, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. “Some of the tracks for Ada were composed way back in 2001, some of the tracks were done in 2005 then everything stopped for a while. I composed the last song, Meherban, this year,” says he
